Director - Physical Design

Stealth-Mode Start-Up looking for a Director of Physical Design.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead / Principal Physical Design Engineer to lead full-chip and complex subsystem physical design for a next-generation AI accelerator platform.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility technical leadership role, working closely with UnCore and Core Architecture, RTL Design, DFT, Packaging, and Foundry teams.

You will drive the physical design organization through the complete implementation lifecycle, from netlist ingestion and floorplanning through timing closure, physical verification, and final GDSII signoff.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in full-chip physical design combined with strong cross-functional leadership. As the primary technical authority for physical design methodology, flow development, and execution, you will shape and drive best-in-class implementation strategies while making critical VLSI trade-offs across PPA, schedule, quality, and design robustness.
