We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Analog Design Director to lead our analog design organization and drive complex semiconductor design programs from architecture through silicon.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Director / Senior Director – Analog Design with 14+ years of industry experience to lead and scale our analog design team in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in analog/mixed-signal IC design, architecture, circuit design, simulation, verification, and silicon bring-up. The candidate will provide technical leadership, drive customer engagements, mentor senior engineers, and establish best-in-class analog design methodologies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Analog and Mixed-Signal Design organization and provide technical direction across multiple projects.
Own analog design programs from specification, architecture, circuit design, simulation, layout collaboration, verification, tape-out, and silicon validation.
Drive architecture and design decisions for high-performance analog and mixed-signal blocks.
Provide technical leadership in areas such as:
Data converters – ADC/DAC
PLL/DLL and clocking circuits
Bandgap references and LDOs
Power management circuits
Amplifiers and operational amplifiers
SerDes/High-Speed I/O analog blocks
Sensor interfaces
Analog front-end circuits
Mixed-signal interfaces
Review circuit architectures, schematics, simulation results, and design methodologies.
Drive PVT, Monte Carlo, mismatch, noise, stability, reliability, and corner analysis.
Work closely with Analog Layout, Physical Design, RTL, Digital Verification, DFT, STA, and System teams to ensure successful SoC integration.
Lead technical reviews, design sign-offs, and risk assessments.
Drive design quality, schedule adherence, and successful tape-out and silicon bring-up.
Develop and improve analog design methodologies, flows, and best practices.
Mentor and develop senior engineers, technical leads, and architects.
Build and scale a high-performing analog design organization.
Participate in customer discussions, technical presentations, project planning, and solution definition.
Support business development by providing technical inputs for proposals, estimations, and new customer engagements.
Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
Stay current with emerging analog, mixed-signal, semiconductor, and advanced-node technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
14+ years of relevant experience in Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design.
Strong expertise in CMOS analog circuit design and semiconductor development.
Proven experience leading analog design teams and complex chip development programs.
Strong understanding of analog circuit architectures, transistor-level design, simulation, and verification.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard analog design tools such as:
Cadence Virtuoso
Spectre / SpectreRF
ADE
Calibre or equivalent verification tools
Strong knowledge of SPICE simulation and circuit analysis.
Experience with advanced semiconductor process technologies is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of analog layout considerations and circuit-layout interaction.
Experience with silicon validation, debugging, characterization, and post-silicon analysis.
Strong knowledge of analog design fundamentals including noise, mismatch, stability, device modeling, parasitics, PVT variation, and reliability.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working with global customers.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and people-management skills.
Leadership Expectations
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a strong analog engineering organization.
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.

Previous experience as Analog Design Manager, Group Manager, Architect, Senior Principal Engineer, Associate Director, or Director.
Strong experience in customer-facing technical leadership.
