Job Description
Apple's wireless silicon development team is looking for a candidate to join their modeling and verification team. The role focuses on modeling and verifying Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SoCs using SystemVerilog. The candidate will work on developing behavioral models, testbenches, and executing test plans to meet project schedules. Collaboration and innovation are key components of success in this hands-on development environment.
Requirements
Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
Ph.D. or Master's with 5+ years of experience in modeling of analog/RF circuits.
Hands-on experience in Mixed-Signal Verification and Real Numbered Modeling of Mixed-Signal Systems.
Knowledge of ubiquitous wireless technologies such as WiFi, BT, UWB, or radio systems.
Knowledge of basic analog circuits including PLLs, LDOs, Bandgap, ADC/DAC.
Experience in modeling with SystemC and/or C/C++.
Experience in writing scripts in languages such as Perl or Python.
Knowledge of signal processing using Python or Matlab.
Good understanding of AMS and wireless circuits/systems.
Responsibilities
Model and verify Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SoCs using SystemVerilog.
Create behavioral models, testbenches, checkers, and tests.
Build and execute test plans to meet project schedules and quality requirements.
Support multiple pre-silicon validation teams to ensure fully functional first silicon.
Integrate mixed-signal models onto emulation platforms.
Benefits
Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
