Job Description
The Digital Engineer IV leads moderate complexity design projects, defines basic concepts for engineering problems. They also lead internal and external technical moderate complexity projects, measure and adapt project scope, and implement action plans to improve project performance.
Responsibilities
Lead digital hardware development from concept, architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, verification, qualification, production release, and sustaining engineering.
Act as the technical design authority for complex product development projects.
Identify and resolve complex hardware issues during development and post-production.
Work with software teams, firmware teams, manufacturing teams, and other engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
Create detailed documentation for designs, testing procedures, and other relevant information.
Optimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost.
Mentor engineers across multiple experience levels.

Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. OR (12) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (6) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
Preferred
Design experience with ARM or Intel based microprocessors.
Design with AMD And/Or Lattice FPGA’s
Proficiency in schematic capture with Siemens DXDesigner or Altium Designer
Experience with the design, constraint and integration of high-speed interfaces. (e.g., PCIe Gen 3/4, 10 GbE, 40 GbE, 100 GbE, DDR4).
High current/low voltage switching power supply experience
Experience collaborating with embedded software and firmware engineers to ensure seamless product verification and successful integration of hardware with FPGA and software functionality.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Experience with Hyperlynx SI/PI
Experience in Rad hard or high reliability design
