MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Digital Engineering Lead to support our Marine Corps Contract out of Stafford, VA. This is a fully remote position. Employee is expected to be in our Stafford office 1 week a month.
The Digital Engineering Lead supports the PAE-MC Office of the Chief Engineer by facilitating tasking, communication, and enterprise thinking multiple Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) projects. The Digital Engineering Lead advises the Program Manager (PM) on project status, resource requirements, technical issues affecting the performance of the organization in delivering high quality products to the customer. The Digital Engineering Lead also maintains relationships with major customer Technical Points of Contact to understand customer needs and satisfaction with contractor deliverables. The Digital Engineering Lead works with the PM to develop and execute innovation within the scope of the contract.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Perform as a technical expert supporting MBSE activities on the contract.
Provide an Enterprise perspective for individual project teams as they develop innovative solutions and support customer requirements.
Research and analyze new and existing technologies and tools to provide more efficient processes.
Oversee multiple digital engineering projects and accurately represent stakeholder interests. Consolidate and report project status updates and issues.
Mentor other technical staff in the execution of their daily duties.
Develop solutions to program and project issues.
Plan, coordinate, and participate in PAE-MC Office of the Chief Engineer meetings and events.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical area and at least 10 years of related experience.
Have extensive knowledge of Marine Corps Systems Engineering Processes, including the relationship between PAE-MC, MCSC and DC, CD&I.
Expert knowledge of one or more of the following: UAF, UML, SysML, UPDM, BPMN, IDEF.
Highly proficient in team building and enterprise thinking.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and influence others to achieve desired results for the project.
Capable of working collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Marine Corps concepts, practices, procedures, systems and interfaces.
Familiarity with the MCSC Acquisition Guidebook, IEEE STD 15288, and Defense Acquisition System process experience.
Security Clearance Required
Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
