Mid-Level DevSecOps & Automation Engineer – San Diego, CA (Onsite) – $120,000–$180,000 per year
Looking to make an impact on a high-visibility DoD program while working with a tight-knit, mission-driven engineering team? This is an opportunity to join a growing government technology organization known for hands-on leadership, strong culture, and meaningful work supporting national defense initiatives.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in IT, including DevSecOps, systems engineering, and application lifecycle management
5+ years of hands-on automation experience with Ansible (or similar tools such as SaltStack, OPA, or HashiCorp Vault)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and hold an active TS clearance (IAT Level II required)
What you’ll do:
Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using GitOps and declarative programming principles
Build and support CI/CD pipelines to promote applications across development, test, staging, and production environments
Establish and enforce governance frameworks for secure and reliable application delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external application providers to ensure stable, scalable deployments
