Developer Relations Engineer (DevRel)
Full Time
Remote (India)
At Nugen, we are building AI reliability infrastructure that transforms generic foundation models into domain-aligned systems organizations can trust. Our platform enables businesses to deploy reliable AI for high-stakes applications through train-time alignment, confidence measurement, and inference control. We are looking for a Developer Relations Engineer (DevRel / DRE) to make domain alignment accessible to developers building production AI applications.
Responsibilities
Build developer resources: Create SDKs, code samples, and cookbooks showing real-world implementation patterns for domain alignment, multi-agent workflows, RAG enhancement, and integration with popular AI frameworks.
Support integration: Help developers implement domain alignment, debug API issues, optimize their workflows, and translate use cases into working solutions. Write clear guides covering the complete journey from document management and benchmark creation through model deployment and production monitoring.
Drive adoption: Present at meetups and hackathons, create technical content, and engage developer communities around AI reliability and domain alignment. Grow community by launching developer programs, organize events, and build an ecosystem of developers shipping reliable AI with Nugen.
Shape product direction: Collect developer feedback and translate it into actionable improvements for the alignment platform and developer experience.
Requirements
2+ years building applications with REST APIs or developing SDKs/client libraries
Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills with clean, idiomatic code
Developer experience mindset that identifies what makes APIs easy or frustrating
Ability to explain complex technical concepts through code examples and demos
Comfort with public speaking at meetups and conferences
Mindset: ship quickly, iterate based on feedback, wear multiple hats
Experience contributing to GitHub repositories including pull requests, code reviews, and merging
You Might Thrive In This Role If You
Experience building with LLM APIs and understanding reliability challenges. Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and agent frameworks. Knowledge of fine-tuning, benchmarking, or ML evaluation
Open source contributions or developer tool experience. Previous DevRel or technical writing experience
What You Get
Foundational impact: Help developers build the next generation of reliable AI applications
Early ownership: Establish DevRel programs and community from the ground up
Technical depth: Work with sophisticated AI reliability concepts and make them accessible
Join us in making AI reliability accessible to every developer, every business, and the world.
