We’re partnering with a fast-growing, developer-first infrastructure company to hire a Developer Advocate / DevRel Engineer. This is a high-impact role focused on engaging, educating, and building trust with a global community of engineers.
They have strong technical adoption and a passionate user base — now they’re looking for someone to become a visible, credible voice in the developer community and help accelerate that momentum.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a public-facing technical voice for the company across developer communities
Actively engage with engineers on platforms like:
Twitter/X
Reddit
Slack, Discord, and other community forums
Create and share high-quality technical content, including:
Code examples and demos
Blog posts and tutorials
Videos, livestreams, and walkthroughs
Speak at conferences, meetups, and developer events
Build authentic relationships with developers and gather feedback to influence product direction
Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to amplify product adoption
Help drive community-led growth through education, storytelling, and hands-on engagement
What We’re Looking For
Strong technical background — ideally a former or current software engineer
Deep credibility with developers — you can speak their language and earn their trust
Highly active in the developer community (online and/or in-person)
Proven presence on platforms like:
Twitter/X, YouTube, or blogs
Reddit, Discord, Slack communities
Experience creating technical content that developers actually care about
Comfortable being public-facing — speaking, writing, and engaging at scale
Passion for developer tools, infrastructure, or platforms
Self-starter who thrives in early-stage, high-ownership environments
Strong Signals (Nice to Have)
Existing audience or following in the developer ecosystem
Conference speaking experience, podcasts, or published technical content
Experience hosting or organizing developer meetups or events
Background working at a developer tooling, infrastructure, or platform company
Open-source contributions or active participation in technical communities
Why This Role
Opportunity to become a recognized voice in a fast-growing developer ecosystem
Work with a highly technical, product-driven team building for engineers
High visibility and autonomy — your voice directly shapes how the company shows up to the world
Be at the center of community, product, and growth
