You’ll work closely with sales, project management, and fabrication to develop practical, buildable designs that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities of the Designer / Engineer include but are not limited to:
Design pump skids, piping layouts, and equipment assemblies
Develop 3D models and fabrication drawings (layouts, spool drawings, BOMs)

Interpret customer specifications, P&IDs, and contract documents
Ensure designs meet applicable codes (NFPA, NSF, ASME, etc.)
Coordinate with fabrication team to ensure designs are manufacturable

2–8+ years of experience in mechanical design, piping, or pump systems (a plus)

Experience with piping systems, pumps, or skid-based equipment
Strong understanding of fabrication methods (welding, machining, assembly)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fire pump systems (NFPA 20)
Knowledge of hydraulics and fluid systems
Experience generating P&IDs
Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM structures
Experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
What We’re Looking For
