About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Design Verification to lead and drive verification activities for complex SoC and IP development programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in verification methodologies, team leadership, project execution, and customer engagement, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality silicon.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership
Define and drive verification strategies for complex SoC and IP-level projects.
Develop comprehensive verification plans, testbench architectures, and coverage closure methodologies.
Lead verification activities using industry-standard methodologies such as UVM, SystemVerilog, Assertions, and Formal Verification.
Review verification environments, test plans, coverage metrics, and debug methodologies.
Drive quality improvements and ensure first-pass silicon success.
Project Management
Manage end-to-end execution of multiple verification projects.
Estimate project schedules, resource requirements, and deliverables.
Track project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
Collaborate with Design, Architecture, Emulation, Validation, DFT, and Physical Design teams.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Lead and mentor a team of Design Verification Engineers.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex verification challenges.
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and career development initiatives.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Interface directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
Present project status, technical solutions, and verification metrics.
Understand customer requirements and translate them into execution plans.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional and global teams.

Functional Coverage
Coverage Closure
Debug Methodologies
Experience in IP and SoC Verification.
Strong understanding of verification planning and sign-off methodologies.
Experience with simulation and debugging tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens EDA.
Knowledge of Formal Verification and Emulation is an added advantage.

Experience in people management and performance reviews.
Strong understanding of semiconductor product development lifecycle.
Experience working with advanced technology nodes and complex SoC architectures.
