The Experience Design Strategist is responsible for the development of advanced strategies across brand, product, and digital, that increase our competitiveness and establish strong emotional connection with next-gen customers.

The role will lead, with minimal supervision, various Advanced Design research themes on emerging user values, technology, and market trends with the goal of identifying unique mobility experience opportunities, and developing strategic concepts that influence future lineup.

Advanced Research & Storytelling – Conduct market and customer research on emerging user values, technologies, future trends. Leverage quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and AI tools synthesize complex, wide-ranging data into compelling, story-driven, and actionable insights.

Advanced Experience Strategy & Concept Development - Develop unique experience strategies that increase the competitiveness of future lineup. Partner with Product Planners, Engineers, and Interior/Exterior/CMF Styling Designers to blend physical and digital solutions into the broader vehicle/product concept.

Concept Visualization – Visualize strategies by leveraging design software and dynamic mediums such as XR/VR/AR, animated 2D/3D graphics, and video creation. Work with Prototype & Visualization teams to engineer prototyping solutions that realize strategies into physical forms

Minimum Educational Qualifications
BA/BS degree in UX Design, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Social Science, Business Administration, Engineering, OR Absence of a relevant degree

5+ years of work experience in Market Research, Strategic Planning, Brand Consulting, Product Planning, UX Research, is acceptable.

Minimum Experience
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience leading strategic brand and product initiatives including market research. Experience working in an agile, fast-paced, dynamic setting. Experience in primary qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (segmentation, survey, auto clinics, focus groups, ethnography, etc)

Other Job-Specific Skills:
Microsoft Suite (Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) – Ability to create visual and story-driven documents is a MUST
Design software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Blender
AI tools: Image (Midjourney), LLM (ChatGPT, Co-Pilot), Video (Sora, Runway AI)
Data Analytics Software: Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Research Tools: Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, or similar
Collaborative tools: Miro, Mural, FigJam or similar
Automotive industry experience is a plus
