Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare DFEMA and DVP&R documentation for assigned projects when required.
Prepares the required APQP documentation per E.R. Wagner APQP procedure and customer requirements while maintaining compliance with IATF16949 standards governing the APQP process.
Conduct engineering analyses form fit and function, tolerance stack ups, lifecycle testing, and application of GD&T.

ceB.S. in Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university; 2+ years related design engineering experience to include component design and CAD work in a manufacturing environment. Additional experienc
e:· Must be proficient at SolidWorks 3D design softwar
e.· Strong mechanical aptitud
e.· Understanding of metal stamping, plastic injection molding, FEA, and kinematics a plu
s.· Strong understanding of GD&T principles and how to apply the
m.· Experience creating DFEMA and DVP&R document
s.· Organized detailed thought proces
s.· Very high attention to detai
l.· Ability to work quickly and accuratel
y.· Ability to share ideas and work with other professional
s.· Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
