Mechanical Design Engineer (Product Design Group)
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Successful candidate will:
Use CAD tools to simulate, test, develop and document new products for engines and vehicles in the automotive markets.
Conduct, document and track design reviews.
Generate project plan and document per Engineering Department procedures.
Participate in and lead teams as required.
Generate preliminary estimates for Capital Investment Plan.
Conduct/create Stack-up Analysis, DVP&R’s, DFMEA, and Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R.
Requirements/Experience
Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year college or university required. 3-5 years’ experience within an automotive manufacturing environment preferred. Plastics design experience preferred.
Candidate should possess analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong PC skills. Must be self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to manage difficult situations and be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
