Location: Tulsa, OK – On-site 💰 Pay Rate: $81.00/hour
EXPLEO GROUP USA is seeking a Consultant-level Design Engineer (Level 5) to provide advanced technical leadership across aerospace design programs.
This role is suited for an experienced professional who is recognized as a subject matter expert, capable of solving highly complex design problems and influencing engineering excellence across teams.
Responsibilities
Lead complex aerospace design solutions for structural and mechanical systems
Develop and review advanced CATIA V5 models and drawing packages
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and configuration control processes
Act as technical authority within IPTs and across programs
Guide design methodologies, practices, and standards
Support program milestones, risk mitigation, and quality objectives
Mentor engineers across all levels
Influence cross-functional design decisions and strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
14+ years aerospace design experience
Deep expertise in structural and mechanical design
Strong experience with Boeing standards and defence programs
Advanced CATIA V5 proficiency
Strong knowledge of FAA and aerospace compliance standards
Demonstrated leadership in complex engineering environments
