Role Description The Design Engineer – Power Electronics will be responsible for designing and developing power electronic systems and components used in solar, utility, industrial, and infrastructure applications. This full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur involves creating detailed design concepts, performing simulations and calculations, and preparing designs and documentation for manufacturing . The role includes collaborating with embedded electronics, mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability standards, as well as applicable industry codes. The engineer will support prototyping, testing, and validation activities, troubleshoot design issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing products and structures. The position also requires close coordination with project managers, suppliers, and quality teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of engineered solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design, with experience translating requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions.
Candidates should possess Power Electronics Engineering and software aided simulation skills for creating detailed designs and trsanslating them into real time hardware.
Candidates should possess Electronics Engineering and power electronics knowledge, including circuit design, switching devices, and protection systems.
Candidates should possess the ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams, aligning designs with manufacturing, quality, and project constraints.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or power electronics or a closely related discipline.
Experience in renewable energy, solar control electronics, or inverters is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and reliability requirements for power electronics and control systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to document designs clearly and collaborate on-site in Jaipur.
