We are seeking a Design Engineer to develop and refine innovative products that meet customer and business requirements. This role involves designing new components and assemblies, supporting new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop new products, components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
Improve existing products based on customer needs, engineering requirements, and production feedback.
Create and maintain engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical documentation.
Interpret blueprints and identify critical product characteristics.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and other cross-functional teams throughout product development and launch.
Support manufacturing by troubleshooting production and assembly issues.
Lead or participate in new product development and product improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R).
Perform design validation activities and coordinate testing with internal and external laboratories.
Conduct research and development for new products and technologies.
Assist Sales with technical presentations and customer support.
Review technical reports and recommend design improvements.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and engineering best practices through training, conferences, and trade shows.
Maintain compliance with company safety standards and workplace organization (6S).
Qualifications
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field OR Associate degree with at least 5 years of related engineering experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Experience
3–5 years of experience in product design, mechanical design, or a related engineering role.
Required Skills
Proficiency with CAD software for product and component design.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of:
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Design for Assembly (DFA)
Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
Tolerance stack-up analysis
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and product development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective project and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard engineering software.
