Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Design Engineer will translate functional requirements into robust mechanical and electrical designs, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop automation solutions for factory floors. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and technical drawings, collaborating on product design and prototyping, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves participating in design reviews, coordinating with manufacturing and installation teams, and supporting testing, validation, and continuous improvement of deployed systems. The Design Engineer will also document design specifications, maintain design libraries, and contribute to standardization of engineering practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to convert requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions.
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, drafting, and simulation.
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to automation, control systems, and integrated hardware solutions.
Experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Ahmedabad Area, collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in technical and non-technical contexts.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality practices.
