Are you a design engineer with a background in plastics or injection molding, looking for a role where you will work from cradle to grave across a range of new and existing products for highly specialized industries?

This manufacturing company is continually growing and investing into its operations and growing their teams. Now they are looking for a Design Engineer to take a pivotal role in the design and development for the engineering department.
In this role you will be working 75% of your time on production support for the rework of existing products and 25% of your time on new product design and introduction. You will be working closely with the other departments such as manufacturing engineers, tooling engineers and other designers. This is a hands on role where you will be getting out on the shop floor to understand how best to design and develop the companies products.
You will be a Design/Development Engineer with knowledge of plastics or injection molding manufacturing. You don’t have to hold a degree but if you do it is advantageous. Knowledge of any CAD packages, but if you can use Inventor that is a bonus.

The Role:
Design and Development of products in plastics for injection molding
Both reworking of existing products and new product design and development
Working closely with manufacturing engineers, tooling engineers, etc
Using AutoCAD Inventor

Plastics or injection molding background
Any CAD Package – Inventor a bonus
Do not need to hold a degree
