Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Design Engineer located in Eau Claire, WI. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and refining wire and cable design concepts, drafting and modifying technical drawings using CAD software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product solutions. Additional responsibilities include ensuring product designs meet industry standards and regulations, conducting testing and analysis, and optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Knowledge of industry certifications such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in wire, cable, or interconnect product development is an advantage
