Experience with one or more of the following:
- Experience in the development and design of electronics circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design
- Proficiency with electronic design and simulation tools across schematic creation, layout, and signal/power integrity analysis
- Experience developing and supporting complex, multi‑layer circuit card assemblies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis and design for production
• Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools: DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX and Xilinx (Zynq Ultrascale, Vivado, Atrix)
• Experience using PCB electronic circuit design software: HyperLynx signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulation, Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB)
• Complex circuit card assemblies between 16 and 32 layers • Constraint Editor System (CES)
• Knowledge of software and/or FPGA code development
• Experience leading a program transition from development to production
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical and schedule risks and to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Knowledgeable in cost/schedule development and management
• Experience in managing schedule and resources to meet assigned milestones
• Capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects

Job Description

The Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART. The candidate will be working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Requirements Creation & Analysis
- Parts Selection & trade studies
- Architecture design – block diagrams, etc.
- Schematic Capture & Involvement with the Physical Layout process
- Lab checkout & integration of HW utilizing test plan and lab equipment


Compensation:
$45/hr to $95/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
