We are recruiting a RF/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer for a global technology leader developing rugged embedded computing systems for defense, aerospace, industrial, and scientific applications. This is a full-time, onsite position in Huntsville, Alabama, with minimal travel required. Relocation assistance is available.

This position does not offer employment visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

You will own advanced RF and mixed-signal hardware from architecture and simulation through laboratory validation, production release, and ongoing improvement.

What You’ll Do

Design complete RF signal chains, analog front ends, filtering, clocking, synchronization, and low-noise power architectures
Select and integrate high-speed ADCs and DACs with FPGA-based processing platforms
Develop RF circuitry operating up to 18 GHz, with opportunities involving designs up to 30 GHz
Perform schematic capture, simulation, hardware bring-up, debugging, and performance validation
Partner with PCB layout engineers on placement, controlled-impedance routing, grounding, shielding, isolation, and manufacturability
Collaborate with FPGA, embedded software, systems, test, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Proven success developing complex RF or mixed-signal hardware from concept through production
Expertise in RF theory, impedance matching, filter design, noise mitigation, signal integrity, and high-speed PCB implementation
Experience integrating high-speed converters from Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, or similar manufacturers
Hands-on skill with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers
Knowledge of programmable clock distribution, low-noise power design, and FPGA converter interfaces
Experience with AMD Xilinx RFSoC, synchronized multi-board systems, Xpedition DxDesigner, or defense and aerospace hardware is highly valued
