Job Title: Power Connector Engineer
Job Location: United States
Job Description:
Focuses on front-end design and customer technical engagement for power connector products, integrating design and field-application engineering
Conceptualize and refine power connector designs, performing CAE/FEA simulations to optimize product performance
Serve as the technical interface for sales engineering, providing frontline technical support, solution proposals, and requirement alignment for local customers
Participate in design reviews to ensure product designs meet customer specifications and relevant industry standards
Required Qualification:
Proficient in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software for design and modeling
Experienced in applying computer-aided engineering (CAE) / finite element analysis (FEA)
Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and dimensional tolerance analysis
Experienced in the design of electronic connectors, especially power connectors
Prior work experience in electric vehicle (EV) or data center related fields
Preferred Skills
Experienced as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) or System Engineer (SE), capable of independently serving as the technical interface for customers
Hands-on experience in designing high-current (>100A) or high-voltage power connectors and addressing thermal management challenges
Language: Fluent in Chinese; proficient in English for technical discussions and email correspondence
