Earth Retention is hiring a Design Engineer to join our Woodstock, GA engineering team. We design and supply retaining wall solutions nationwide — MSE walls, block walls, gravity walls, soldier pile systems — with an in-house engineering team licensed in 40+ states.
The Role:
You'll design retaining walls for contractors, developers, and state DOTs across the country. This is production-oriented engineering — calculations, design drawings, material take-offs, client coordination, and seeing your work go to construction. Final stamped drawings are reviewed, approved, and sealed by our licensed PEs.
What You'll Work With:
Proprietary design tools built in-house (Vespa, AWall, EZER Toolbar)
Industry-standard software (MSEW, ReSSA, Slide, L-Pile, AutoCAD)
All trained on the job — no prior experience with our tools required

Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
0–5 years experience; strong new graduates encouraged to apply
EIT certification preferred (required for recent graduates)
Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Strong foundation in soil mechanics, structural analysis, and geotechnical principles
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn
