Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Designed aluminium and cast iron components for automotive applications.
Developed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Creo Parametric.
Designed components considering casting feasibility, draft angles, machining allowances, shrinkage allowance, and core requirements.
Worked closely with manufacturing and foundry teams to optimize casting quality.
Conducted design reviews and implemented customer comments.
Performed tolerance analysis and GD&T implementation.
Prepared BOM, engineering documentation, and release packages.
Managed engineering change requests (ECR) and engineering change notices (ECN).
Coordinated with suppliers for tooling and prototype development.
Supported PPAP documentation and product validation.


Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
Proficient in UG NX/ PTC Creo
