Role Descriptions
MUST HAVE:
Creo Tool Knowledge (Surfacing| GDT| DFX| DFA| Automotive design experience)
Plastic| Sheetmetal and Casting components
Nice To Have
Should be able to work independently on design conceptual jobs
Hands on experience in Creo-Part| Assembly and Surfacing to generate Concept Models
Should have hands on experience in designing of sheet metals| plastic parts.
Knowledge on phases of the design process and development process for Automotive components including drafting| dimensioning| tolerancing| prototyping| ECN| PPAP and documenting results would be an added advantage
Knowledge on different automotive product design and sheet metal press tools| fixture and gauge design| reverse engineering| Stack-Up| VAVE would be an added advantage.

Can you briefly summarize your experience in mechanical design and the domains you ve worked in (automotive, industrial, consumer, etc.)?
How many years of hands-on CAD design experience do you have? What is your experience level with Creo? How frequently do you use it?

Have you worked with teams like manufacturing, quality, or suppliers? In what context?
What types of components have you designed (plastic, sheet metal, casting, machined parts)?
What is your level of experience with GD&T?
Have you worked through the end-to-end product development cycle (concept to production)?
Do you have experience with Engineering design releases?
Have you collaborated with suppliers or manufacturing teams during development?
Have you participated in DFMEA or DVP&R activities? If yes, what was your contribution?
Have you worked with teams like manufacturing, quality, or suppliers? In what context?
