The role ensures alignment between technology development, operational planning ensuring scalable, cost effective, and safe solutions that support Micron’s business objectives and time to market commitments.

Scope of Responsibility

The role leads the following global teams and capabilities:

  • TPG Industrial Engineering & Fab Planning

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Operations & Strategy

  • Define and execute the operational strategy for TPG, translating long‑term technology and capacity plans into integrated, executable operational plans.

  • Drive business planning excellence across TPG, including budgeting, goal execution, transition cost management, and operating rigor.

  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and best practices across global TPG Operations functions.

  • Oversee fab planning, industrial engineering, and operational readiness for node transitions and product introductions.

Mask Technology & Advanced Enablement

  • Provide executive oversight of Mask Technology, delivering 100% of Micron’s mask supply for TD and HVM with world‑class quality, cycle time, and cost.

  • Ensure next‑generation mask technologies and enablement (including OPC, DFM, simulation, and test vehicles) are delivered in advance of node needs.

Transfer & Hazard Management

  • Enable fast, high‑quality learning cycles across TD and HVM corridors while driving cost efficiency from development through manufacturing transfer.

  • Ensure robust Process Hazard Analysis governance and compliance across global operations.

Corporate Labs & Advanced Research

  • Provide executive oversight of Corporate Labs & Materials, ensuring safe, efficient, and forward‑looking analytical capabilities that accelerate technology development and advanced pathfinding.

  • Lead effectively through complexity and change with energy, clarity, and accountability.

Executive Communication & Decision Making

  • Synthesize complex, multi‑source information into clear, executive‑level insights and recommendations.

  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, cross‑functional partners, and global teams.

  • Apply sound judgment to determine when to engage deeply versus delegate appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field; advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in semiconductor technology development, manufacturing, or operations.

  • Proven executive level experience leading large, global, multidisciplinary organizations.

  • Deep understanding of semiconductor development flows, fab operations, mask technology, and manufacturing readiness.

  • Strong track record of translating complex technical strategies into operational execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, drive alignment, and deliver results in a matrixed environment.

  • Experience working with external research consortia or partnerships (e.g., IMEC or similar ecosystems).

  • Strong background in operational planning, industrial engineering, or advanced R&D infrastructure.

  • Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, technical experts, and external partners.

  • Experience driving change at scale in fast paced, high complexity environments.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical leadership.
