Role Description The Computer Hardware Engineer role at Maruti Computer is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The engineer will design, develop, and test computer hardware components and systems used in laptops, printers, and related peripherals, ensuring compatibility, performance, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include working on circuit design, troubleshooting hardware issues, performing diagnostics and repairs, and optimizing configurations to meet customer and business requirements. The role involves collaborating with sales and support teams to provide technical guidance, maintaining documentation for hardware specifications and testing procedures, and staying current with industry standards and new hardware technologies. The engineer will also support quality control processes, assist in evaluating new products, and help improve internal workflows for hardware handling and maintenance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Hardware Development and Computer Hardware for designing, integrating, and maintaining hardware components.
Candidates should possess skills in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design for creating, analyzing, and optimizing electronic circuits and boards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and resolving complex hardware issues.
Working knowledge of hardware testing tools, diagnostic software, and industry-standard interfaces and protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, datasheets, and hardware documentation.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members on-site.
Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field; comparable practical experience is also valued.
Prior experience in computer hardware service, manufacturing, or system integration is an advantage.
