Hiring: Commissioning Project Engineer (Travel Role)
We are actively hiring a Commissioning Project Engineer to support large-scale infrastructure and mission-critical projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are open to long-term travel assignments.

Location
Open to candidates across the U.S. (high travel required)
Primary project sites: Southeast Michigan, Indiana, Northern Ohio, North Carolina

Role Overview
As a Commissioning Project Engineer, you will lead L2–L3 commissioning activities and support L4–L5 system testing, ensuring smooth execution from installation through integrated system validation.
You will collaborate closely with commissioning agents (CxA/ACx), contractors, and vendors to ensure systems are delivered, tested, and operational as per project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Schedule Management
Build and manage H2C schedules aligned with P6 timelines
Track progress, manage delays, and align resources
Pre & Post Energization Support
Coordinate installation readiness and energization plans
Track energization activities and manage deviations
Testing & Commissioning
Lead L2–L3 testing across multiple vendors and subcontractors
Support L4–L5 commissioning including IST (Integrated System Testing)
Drive issue resolution during testing and commissioning phases
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with electrical, mechanical, and construction teams
Coordinate load bank testing, air systems validation, and equipment readiness
Stakeholder Communication
Lead recurring meetings (L2/L3, L4/L5, coordination calls)
Provide updates to project leadership and client stakeholders
Project Tracking & Reporting
Maintain delay logs and track risks/issues
Capture lessons learned and process improvements

What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in commissioning, testing, or data center / critical infrastructure projects
Hands-on exposure to electrical and mechanical systems commissioning
Experience managing multi-vendor environments and complex schedules
Familiarity with L2–L5 commissioning phases and IST processes
Ability to travel extensively and work on-site for long durations
Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills

Nice to Have
Experience working with large general contractors or mission-critical environments
Background in data centers, hyperscale, or critical facilities
Exposure to Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools
