This is not a programming job.
This is where machining changes forever.
we are building something that has never existed before -
machines that learn, correct themselves, and produce perfect parts from the first run.
We are not optimizing toolpaths.
We are redefining what a CNC machine is capable of.
You are not applying to “run CAM.”
You are stepping into the role of someone who will bridge physical machining and intelligence - and help create the first truly autonomous machining systems.
The Mission
Turn real machining behavior into intelligence.
Translate:
toolpath → machine → physics → error → AI → correction → perfect part
This is where CAM stops being instructions -
and becomes part of a self-correcting system.
What You Will Build
You will not just “support engineering.”
You will help define how machining works in the future.
Create real-world test parts, setups, and validation strategies
Build and prove CAM programs on real machines
Work directly with software and AI teams to:
Modify and adapt toolpaths based on real outcomes
Enable closed-loop correction at the G-code level
Bridge CAM intent with physical machine behavior
Define how digital meets reality in machining systems
Build repeatable validation pipelines across machines
Role Nature: Builder on the Edge of Reality
This is a hands-on, on-site role.
You will:
Be on the shop floor - not just behind a screen
Create experimental CAM codes
Set up machines, prove out parts, and solve real issues
Work with tooling, fixtures, offsets, and real constraints
Turn failures into system intelligence
This role exists exactly at the intersection of:
CNC machining × CAM strategy × physics × AI
Who You Are
You own the full chain: program → setup → part → result
You’ve seen where CAM “looks good” but fails on the machine
You understand that real machining ≠ simulation
You enjoy solving problems others avoid on the shop floor
You think in terms of systems, not just operations
You are not here to run jobs.
You are here to change how jobs are run.
Technical Requirements (Must-Have)
· 5+ years hands-on CNC machining & CAM programming
· Strong experience with multi-axis milling (4/5-axis preferred)
· Deep understanding of G-code and real machine behavior
· Experience with CAM tools (NX, Mastercam, Fusion, PowerMill, etc.)
· Proven ability to:
· Set up and prove out parts
· Diagnose machining errors (deflection, chatter, tolerance issues)
· Optimize toolpaths for real-world performance
Strong Advantage
· Experience with probing, metrology, or CMM
· High-precision environments (aerospace, medical, etc.)
· Understanding of machine variability and error sources
· Exposure to automation or advanced manufacturing systems
