We are looking for an Engineer / Cabinet Drafter to join our growing team in Kaysville, UT. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, drafting, collaboration, and turning custom designs into efficient, buildable solutions.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and Sales to help bring custom cabinetry and millwork projects from concept to production. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Engineer and draft custom cabinetry, millwork, and countertop projects
Create detailed technical drawings, CAD models, shop drawings, and specifications
Translate design intent into clear, accurate, production-ready documentation
Create CNC-ready models and engineering documentation
Review architectural blueprints, project requirements, and design standards
Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and Sales teams
Help troubleshoot production and installation challenges
Participate in peer reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Contribute to standards, templates, and workflow improvements
Ensure production accuracy and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
Experience in cabinetry, millwork, drafting, engineering, woodworking, or manufacturing preferred
Proficiency in CAD software and technical drafting
Experience with Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is a plus
Strong understanding of cabinet construction, material selection, and manufacturing processes
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and design requirements
Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in commercial, residential, or retail cabinetry is a significant advantage
Relevant education or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
