C++ Software Engineer

We are partnered with a leading quantitative trading firm that is looking for experienced C++ engineers to help build and optimize the core systems powering live trading and research infrastructure across global markets.

This team works on highly performant, distributed systems where latency, throughput, and reliability are critical. Engineers collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and infrastructure specialists to solve complex technical problems in real-time environments.

What You’ll Work On:
• Build and optimize low-latency infrastructure for market data, execution systems, and trading workflows across multiple asset classes
• Develop highly reliable distributed systems designed for real-time trading environments
• Improve performance-critical systems with a focus on latency, throughput, scalability, and resiliency
• Design and enhance core infrastructure supporting research, trading, and large-scale compute workflows
• Work closely with engineering and trading teams on systems-level optimization and architecture
• Contribute to software interacting with specialized networking and hardware technologies

What They’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong modern C++ experience in performance-sensitive environments
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems, multithreading, networking, and system performance
• Strong debugging, design, and problem-solving skills
• Experience building scalable distributed systems and low-latency infrastructure is highly preferred
• Ability to operate independently on complex engineering challenges while collaborating across teams
