🚨 We’re Hiring: Bridge Design Engineer in Baton Rouge, LA 🚨
We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Bridge Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to join a well-established engineering firm in Baton Rouge, LA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful transportation and infrastructure projects for primarily public-sector clients while collaborating with a highly respected team of professionals.
🔹 What You’ll Work On:
• Bridge design and transportation projects
• Construction phase support, RFIs, submittal reviews & conflict resolution
• Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Public/private bid and award activities
• Client interaction, presentations, and public meetings
• Project closeout activities
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
✔ Licensed PE in Louisiana
✔ 5–10 years of bridge design experience
✔ Familiarity with Louisiana DOTD design/detailing procedures
✔ Experience with Bentley Bridge Design software
✔ Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
⭐ Preferred Skills:
• MicroStation drafting experience
• Bridge Rating experience using AASHTOware Bridge Rating software
• Knowledge of Louisiana DOTD bridge rating requirements
📍 Location: Baton Rouge, LA
✈ Local travel and occasional evening meetings required
