Job Role: Avionics Software V&V Engineer
Work Experience: 4 to 12 Years
Location: Bangalore
Important: Hands-on experience in both Embedded C Development and Software Verification & Validation (V&V) within the Avionics/Aerospace domain is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Perform verification and validation of avionics embedded software
Execute unit, integration, and system-level testing for safety-critical applications
Conduct requirements-based testing in compliance with DO-178B / DO-178C guidelines
Ensure traceability between High-Level Requirements (HLR), Low-Level Requirements (LLR), and test cases
Support structural coverage analysis, including MC/DC coverage activities
Review software requirements, design documents, and test procedures
Perform debugging, defect analysis, and root cause investigation
Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams
Support certification audits and compliance activities
Maintain verification artifacts, test reports, and certification documentation
Required Qualifications & Skills
4–12 years of experience in Avionics or Aerospace Software V&V
Strong Embedded C programming and debugging skills
Hands-on experience with DO-178B / DO-178C software lifecycle processes
Experience in requirements-based testing and traceability management
Knowledge of safety-critical software development environments
Familiarity with RTOS-based embedded systems
Experience with software debugging and static code analysis tools
Understanding of software quality assurance and certification processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
