RLE International has a position for an Automotive Systems Engineer-Vehicle Access.
Position Description
Development of new NFC and Key Fob hardware, software, and systems: Work with lead engineer to take responsibility for a subset of parts/requirements. Lead design reviews with internal and external teams including suppliers. Quality documentation development and reviews Ensure requirements such as FMVSS, ECE, and other regulatory or legal requirements are met including RF certification and homologation. Packaging of receiver module to optimize RF reception. Develop and execute design verification plan (DVP) for NFC READER and Key Fob systems on bench, HIL, and vehicle per program milestones requirements (DCV, PEC, FEC, etc). Track status in FEDE and JIRA for issues. Manage parts release in WERS. Support programs through launch by leading issue resolution and presenting status to management. Collaborate with Chassis and Vehicle Operations teams to ensure interface and process/assembly requirements are met. Travel to supplier facilities and Ford assembly plants as needed to support design reviews and launches of new products, APQP and PPAP approval. Additional responsibilities may include the following: FEDE BOM, DBC, Device Transmittal, VSCS, ED&T and Mountain Charts, ESOW

Candidate should have minimum of 2 years of experience with design and testing of Automotive electrical systems – hardware, software, and systems. Experience with vehicle network tools including CANalyzer.
