Role Overview

We are looking for an ATE High-Speed Interface Test Engineer to develop and support semiconductor test solutions for high-speed digital interfaces across wafer sort and final test. The role involves ATE test program development, silicon validation, characterization, production test optimization, and close collaboration with design, product engineering, signal integrity, and manufacturing teams. Candidates should have hands-on experience with modern semiconductor ATE platforms and high-speed interface technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop ATE test programs from scratch for Wafer Sort (WS) and Final Test (FT).
Create engineering validation, characterization, and production test solutions for high-speed interfaces.
Develop, debug, and optimize engineering and production test programs.
Design and review high-speed load boards, interface boards, interposers, sockets, and evaluation hardware.
Develop high-speed channel architectures with controlled impedance and signal integrity considerations.
Support connector, socket, cable, and interconnect selection for high-speed applications.
Perform protocol validation, compliance testing, link training verification, jitter analysis, and timing measurements.
Execute TX/RX, BER, loopback, margin, stress, and compliance testing methodologies.
Perform device characterization across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) conditions.
Analyze Wafer Sort and Final Test data to improve yield, optimize test limits, and reduce test time.
Develop automation scripts for test execution, data acquisition, statistical analysis, and reporting.
Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Signal Integrity, PCB Design, Applications, Manufacturing, and Customer Engineering teams.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
Instrumentation Engineering
Computer Engineering
Embedded Systems
VLSI Design
Microelectronics
Semiconductor Technology
Or a related engineering discipline
3 10 years of experience in semiconductor ATE test development, validation, characterization, or production testing.
Experience working with high-speed digital interface validation and production test development.
