Role Overview
We are looking for an ATE Digital & Mixed-Signal Validation/Test Development Engineer to support semiconductor product validation, characterization, and production test development. The role involves developing ATE test programs, silicon bring-up, engineering validation, and production test optimization across Wafer Sort (WS) and Final Test (FT). The engineer will work closely with Product Engineering, Design, Reliability, Applications, and Manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop ATE test programs from scratch for Wafer Sort (WS) and Final Test (FT).
Perform first silicon bring-up, engineering validation, and silicon debugging.
Develop Functional, DC, AC, Timing, and Parametric test methodologies based on product specifications.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Validation (EV), Product Qualification, and Production Release.
Perform silicon characterization across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) conditions.
Analyze Wafer Sort and Final Test data to improve yield, optimize test limits, and reduce test time.
Develop and debug load boards, probe cards, interface hardware, and test fixtures.
Perform failure analysis and root cause investigation by correlating ATE and bench measurements.
Develop automation scripts for test execution, data analysis, and engineering productivity.
Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Reliability, Foundry, Applications, and Manufacturing teams.
Maintain technical documentation and validation reports.
Support continuous improvement of production test methodologies and test coverage.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following:
Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
Instrumentation Engineering
Computer Engineering
Embedded Systems
VLSI Design
Microelectronics
Semiconductor Technology
Related Engineering Discipline
3 10 years of experience in semiconductor validation, characterization, ATE development, or production testing.
Experience working on semiconductor products during engineering validation or production is preferred.
