Role Description
Differential Bevel gear Macro design, Micro geometry optimization with LTCA.
Design of Differential casting housing, differential washers, differential internal shaft as per requirement.
Packaging of differential internal parts in diff housing and Packaging of differential assembly in e-axle transmission boundary.
Creating 3D models, 3D assembly and 2D drawings of differential components.
Risk assessment & failure mechanism analysis for differential parts.
Collaborating with simulation teams for CAE/FEA Analysis of new designs and analysis of & testing failures.
Release Parts in Team center and SAP.
Development of proto parts & series parts by simulataneous engineering.
To prepare the design guideline documents, design standards etc for differential.
Manage all development stakeholder b/w Design, Purchase, Supplier , Quality team to meet project timeline
Realise B, C Sample with gearset supplier.
1 Hands on Experience with design software NX creating and modifying 3D casting designs & manufacturing Drawings Mandatory 5-8
2 Knowledge of Teamcenter PLM and SAP Mandatory 5
3 Software Experience : KissSoft, BECAL, HyGears, MASTA Mandatory 5-8
4 Knowledge in Forged Bevel gears and Bevel gear manufacturing process, Bevel gear standards ISO/DIN/AGMA etc, Differential housing / Differential Casing Fe-Casting process, Gear heat treatment process for bevel gears Mandatory 5-8
5 Knowledge & selection of material for Bevel gears, diff housing, diff shafts and washers etc. Mandatory 2-3
6 Knowledge of different surface coatings for bevel gear, Washers and diff shaft Preferred 2-3
