The Assistant Engineer supports engineering teams in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of systems, products, or infrastructure. This role requires strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support
Assist engineers in design, development, and implementation of projects
Support preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities
Project Coordination
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
Maintain project documentation and reports
Technical Analysis
Perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis
Identify issues and assist in developing solutions
Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare technical reports, logs, and documentation
Maintain accurate records of engineering activities
Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
Quality & Compliance
Follow engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulations
Assist in quality assurance and inspection processes
Support audits and compliance checks
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
1-3 years of engineering or technical experience
Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
Familiarity with project management tools
Internship or hands-on project experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills
