Assembly Integration & Test Engineer
Overview
We are seeking an Assembly Integration & Test Engineer to support the build, integration, and full environmental test cycle of advanced space-flight mechanisms. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, problem-solving, and improving production and integration efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanism assembly, integration, and verification activities.
Lead and participate in environmental testing, including shock, vibration, and TVAC.
Develop test and assembly procedures, materials, tooling, and workflows.
Support design reviews and mechanism trade studies, recommending improvements to streamline integration and production.
Provide clear documentation, including reports summarising test data and technician feedback.
Troubleshoot integration or test issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with production engineering teams.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
Preferred experience in aerospace or related high-precision engineering.
Knowledge of mechanism assembly and environmental test processes.
Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent settings.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
