Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Applications Engineer located in Albion, MI. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for developing customized caster and wheel solutions, supporting customers with technical expertise, conducting feasibility studies, and assisting in product design and testing. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documents, and providing support for manufacturing processes and quality assurance.
Qualifications
Proficiency in mechanical engineering concepts, product design, and CAD software
Experience in conducting feasibility studies, testing, and analyzing product performance
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
Background in manufacturing processes, quality assurance, or product development
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required
Experience in the caster or mobility solutions industry is a plus
Ability to travel, as needed, to meet with customers
The projected pay range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 annually
