About the Company
The Process and Training Consultant partners with TriMech clients to drive successful adoption and effective use of SOLIDWORKS and related solutions. This role combines technical expertise, training delivery, and customer support to help users improve their design, analysis, and manufacturing workflows. This position supports the New England territory and requires regular travel to TriMech offices in Marlborough, MA; Auburn, NH; and Rocky Hill, CT.
About the Role
The Process and Training Consultant will be responsible for delivering training and support to clients, ensuring they effectively utilize SOLIDWORKS and related solutions.
Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led training for SOLIDWORKS, Simulation, CAM, and related solutions
Continuously develop technical expertise across the TriMech product portfolio
Support customers with application guidance and troubleshooting in real-world workflows
Engage with customers via phone, web, email, and onsite to ensure successful product utilization
Apply structured problem-solving to resolve technical and workflow challenges
Maintain training environments, including hardware and software, for in-person and virtual delivery
Participate in customer-facing activities such as product rollouts, tradeshows, and seminars
Contribute to the development of technical content, including how‑to tips and videos, blog articles, and white papers
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in design, engineering, or manufacturing (education may be considered toward experience)
Strong understanding of design and manufacturing principles
Willingness to obtain relevant SOLIDWORKS certifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both individuals and groups
Proven ability to work directly with customers in a variety of environments
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
Flexibility to deliver occasional evening training sessions
Appropriate citizenship or work authorization
Required Skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience with 3D CAD, particularly SOLIDWORKS
Experience with CAM software or manufacturing equipment
Knowledge of GD&T
Bilingual (Spanish or French)
Public speaking or presentation experience
