🚀 Application Engineer II – Jira Cloud Platform (Remote | W2 Only)
We are hiring an experienced Application Engineer II to support a large-scale Jira Cloud environment for a dynamic, enterprise technology team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Jira expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

💼 Role Overview:
You will act as a key liaison between business teams and Jira engineering, helping intake, assess, and guide Jira-related transformation initiatives. This is a highly visible role requiring both technical depth and strong communication.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support Jira Cloud environment (6,000+ users, highly customized setup)
Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into scalable Jira solutions
Guide teams on workflows, dashboards, reporting, and best practices
Drive Jira standardization and platform cleanup (fields, statuses, schemes)
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on delivery and enhancements
Support integrations, permissions, and Jira Service Management use cases
🔧 Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of Jira Cloud experience
2+ years in Jira Service Management (JSM)
Experience with ScriptRunner (Groovy scripting)
Strong knowledge of Jira add-ons (Automation, eazyBI, Structure, Advanced Roadmaps)
Experience in large-scale Jira environments
Strong stakeholder management & requirements gathering skills
Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience
⭐ Nice to Have:
Jira certifications (ACP-120, ACP-420)
Jira Product Discovery / Atlassian Analytics
Experience with Airtable, Trello, or similar tools
Reporting tools (eazyBI, Tableau)

🕒 Contract Details:
Duration: 6–12 months
Location: Remote (US-based preferred, PST overlap a plus)
Pay Rate: $65 – $85/hour (W2 only)
