About the Role
The candidate will provide technical and application engineering support for Green Steel solutions, with expertise in DRI, HBI, and steelmaking through BOF & ERF routes. The role involves working closely with customers, sales, and internal teams to drive solutioning, proposals, and business growth.
Responsibilities
Deliver application engineering support and technical solutions
Engage with customers and support business development initiatives
Track global Green Steel trends and provide market insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution
Qualifications
12–16 years in the steel industry
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
Required Skills
Strong hands-on knowledge of DRI/HBI processes and BOF & ERF operations
Good understanding of global Green Steel market, decarbonization trends, and hydrogen-based steelmaking
Proven experience in techno-commercial discussions and customer engagement
Ability to support technical proposals, feasibility studies, and solution development
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Green Steel/decarbonization projects
Experience with global customers or technology providers
