Our client is seeking an Application Engineer (SEM Metrology) . This role will support advanced SEM metrology systems for leading semiconductor manufacturers across R&D and production environments.
Title: Application Engineer (SEM Metrology)
Industry: Industrial Manufacturer
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Location: Boise ID with travel required
Pay: $80-120K/(DOE)
Key Responsibilities :
• Partnered with customers to identify and resolve process control challenges. Demonstrated tool capabilities and optimized measurement recipes for customer applications
• Utilized SEM metrology systems to support process control and optimize measurement applications for R&D and manufacturing
• Analyzed tool performance data, reported technical findings, and presented project updates to customers and internal teams.
• Supported software and application troubleshooting with additional hardware diagnostic assistance as needed.
• Reported technical status to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provided technical training to customers on tool operation, recipe development, and data analysis.
Qualifications
• Experience in semiconductor equipment or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor device fabrication, metrology fundamentals preferred
• Experienced with data analysis tools (Excel, Spotfire, JMP, or R) preferred
• Knowledge of semiconductor layout formats (GDS and OASIS ) and SEM hardware or vacuum system Preferred
• Experience working in multicultural environments with exposure to Japanese business practices and communication styles are a plus
