Application Engineer

About The Company

Our client is a leading asset manager within the digital assets industry that offers a variety of public and private investment products.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end application performance, scalability, and uptime across the platform
Architect and develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs that support business-critical functionality
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and extensibility through best practices and thoughtful design
Develop and manage integrations that connect frontend applications with backend services and data systems
Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to provide visibility into system performance
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Support infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
5-10 years of experience within financial services, fintech, and/or digital assets
Comfortable owning production systems end-to-end
Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript including React and Next.js
Backend development experience using Node.js and/or Python
Experience with cloud infrastructure built on AWS including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and related services

Salary Range

$180,000- $225,000
