Analog IC Design & Layout Engineer
📍 California (Remote with monthly travel to Los Angeles)
💰 $160,000 – $180,000 base

An exciting opportunity with a leading U.S. microelectronics and semiconductor innovation organization, supporting advanced technologies across communications, sensing, and next-generation IC development. This role is ideal for a hands-on Analog IC Design & Layout Engineer who enjoys working across the full design cycle, from concept through to tape-out, while collaborating with both industry and research teams.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality analog circuit design and custom layout, helping bring cutting-edge semiconductor innovations into production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop analog IC circuits across multiple process technologies (CMOS, BiCMOS, III-V)
Own and support full custom layout implementation, including DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction
Provide guidance on schematic capture, simulation, and layout best practices
Support tape-out activities, including post-layout simulation and verification
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams on advanced IC development
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in analog IC design and/or custom layout
Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, or similar tools
Solid understanding of layout verification flows (DRC, LVS, extraction)
Experience working across multiple process technologies and adapting to design rules
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Additional Info
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (ITAR/EAR requirements)
Remote role with monthly travel to Los Angeles
