Company Description
VC-backed optical wireless startup
Job Description
As an Analog Front-end Engineer, you will own the critical signal chain for a next-generation optical wireless communication system. You will design, simulate, and optimize transimpedance amplifiers and active filters to enable ultra-low latency data transmission. This hands-on role involves shaping the hardware architecture from the photodetector through to digitization.
Location
Campbell, USA
Why this role is remarkable
Work on a breakthrough communication technology that outperforms high-end Wi-Fi by orders of magnitude for robotics and AI applications.
Join a venture-backed startup graduated from a top-tier accelerator and led by world-class industry veterans in optical networking.
Shape the product and architecture from day one with meaningful equity in a company solving fundamental connectivity constraints.
What You Will Do
Design and integrate high-speed transimpedance amplifiers and active filter topologies optimized for noise and bandwidth.
Perform comprehensive noise analysis and signal integrity simulations to meet stringent end-to-end link budget targets.
Lead the bring-up, debugging, and validation of mixed-signal prototype PCBs for the core optical transceiver hardware.
The ideal candidate
Strong foundation in analog signal processing, including TIA design, signal conditioning, and noise figure optimization.
Proven experience with mixed-signal PCB layout and hands-on hardware debugging for high-speed or RF electronics.
MSEE or equivalent depth with a desire to work in a fast-paced, early-stage R&D environment.
