Duration: 12 Months on W2 Contract
THE ROLE:
The Client's 3rd Party IP Team needs a person very familiar with all aspects of General Purpose I/O (GPIO) and capable of supporting the integration of various kinds of GPIO IP into all Client products. The candidate will ensure correct and robust integration and electrical analysis of GPIO, working closely with chip-level physical design teams and power/signal integrity teams.

Strong background in circuit design, electrical engineering, and ESD.
Excellent team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Eager to learn and take on challenging engineering problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide guidance and review for a wide array of digital and analog GPIO implementations based on third-party IP licensed by the Client.
Perform and support electrical analyses for power integrity and signal integrity to ensure GPIOs operate successfully across multiple Client SoC environments.
Review and sign off on physical verification (PV) checks for GPIO implementations.
Develop AI-assisted methodologies to streamline GPIO integration efforts across multiple implementations and SoC platforms.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Circuit and logic design engineering experience.
Strong ESD knowledge and hands-on experience.
Experience with SPICE simulation.
Understanding of power noise generation and power sensitivity.
Knowledge of signal integrity fundamentals, including:
Termination impedance
Characteristic impedance
Transmission lines
Experience using AI tools in engineering practice.
Knowledge of clock distribution and clock specifications such as:
Jitter
Duty Cycle Distortion (DCD)
Experience with semiconductor, ASIC, or SoC development is a plus.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Computer Engineering
