Experience in airframe structure design and analysis
Experience with CATIA V5
Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T
Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure
Experience with basic hand stress analysis
Job Description
You will be the Airframe Structural Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge airframe solutions.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Airframe Structural Design Engineer you will be responsible for applying advanced technical expertise to solve aircraft structural design challenges and contribute to the success of high‑impact development programs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Create and modify primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
Develop, test, and validate aircraft structural designs.
Assist in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
Coordinate with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interact with external IPTs and suppliers.

**Further Information About This Opportunity**
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
