The Role
We are seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to support the design and development of airframe components and assemblies. In this role, you will contribute to structural design, analysis, certification, and production support activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring new aircraft designs from concept to release.

What You’ll Do
Design and develop structural components and assemblies, supporting programs from concept through certification and production release
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with regulatory standards
Develop and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and documentation, including GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
Support testing, certification, and regulatory compliance activities, including development of means of compliance
Troubleshoot production and installation issues, implementing corrective actions and design improvements
Coordinate with suppliers to support component development, manufacturing, and quality requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement through design for manufacturing, cost, and maintainability principles

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
6+ years of progressive experience in structural or airframe design
Experience with composite and metallic structures
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production support
Proficiency with CAD and PDM/PLM systems (e.g., Creo, Windchill, or similar tools)
Familiarity with engineering collaboration and issue-tracking tools
Experience supporting certification activities within regulated aerospace environments is preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly
Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
